We hope that you find the application process straight forward; however, if you have any questions at all, we are here for you! Email us, text us or find us on social media! One of our devoted staff members or board members will be in contact with you as promptly as possible.  We understand that this decision can be a very stressful decision to make where your special camper is concerned.  It is our goal to always be here for you before, during, and after camp sessions.

    What type of Medical Care do you provide?
    There are two registered nurses on staff 24 hours a day. Memorial Medical Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Memorial Medical, a premier facility, is only minutes from the camp, and provides emergency care for our campers.

    Do You Accept Campers Who Are Incontinent?
    Yes.

    Is there Financial Aid available?
    Yes. Families requiring financial aid complete a Financial Aid Application, which can be requested via our email at info@lindseysplacecamp.com, and submit a recent tax return. The Board of Directors will review each request on a one-on-one basis and determine the amount of assistance the camp can provide. It is the goal of LIndsey's Place that no camper is unable to attend solely due to financial reasons.

    Do You Accept Disabled Campers?
    Lindsey's Place accepts campers with a wide range of physical needs, ranging from those requiring assistance in eating, toileting, dressing and mobility, to those who are ambulatory and can provide all their own daily care needs.

    What are the sleeping arrangement for camp?
    Camp facilities offer a residential layout. Each bedroom accommodates an average of three campers plus three counselors.

    What Is The Counselor To Camper Ratio?
    There is one counselor for every two campers at all times. When needed due to care level, there is a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio established.

    When is the next LP Day Out date?
    We schedule various outings and fundraisers throughout the year. Please follow us on social media for up-to-date information and dates for our next outing and camp sessions!

    How many campers can you accommodate at each session?
    With our current arrangements at the beautiful Wesley Gardens we can accommodate up to 12 campers, we hold two sessions a year on a first come-first served basis.
